Annetta Fiandra

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Annetta Fiandra, of Brooklyn, who passed away on June 30th, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on May 1st, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, Annetta was the beloved daughter of Frank Alessio and Theresa (Felice) Alessio. She was predeceased by her five siblings, Frances, Erna, Ersa, Ida and Anthony. Annetta was a devoted mother whose greatest pride was her family. She was the loving mother of Ralph, Robert (Joy, spouse), Adele (Joseph, spouse) and Ann Marie. She dedicated her life to providing for her children, supporting them through every stage of life, and celebrating their accomplishments. Her love for her family was unconditional. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Bobby, Keith, Ashley Rose, CJ, Erika, Michael, Britney,, Monika, and Joseph. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys. She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Connor, Austin John, Luke, Shane, and Caeli. Annetta will be remembered for her strength, laughter even through rough times, humor, kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She showed us the value of hard work, perseverance, loyalty, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we take comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Her love, guidance, and generous spirit will remain with us always. “When you feel low, remember tomorrow will be brighter if you want it to be so keep on trying . The family will receive friends from 2PM to 5PM, and 7PM to 9PM on Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11AM on Monday, July 13th, 2026 at Our Lady Star of The Sea, Staten Island. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
