Antoinette (Mastandrea) Scolaro of Washingtonville NY, (Brooklyn, NY) a devoted wife and cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother, entered into rest on September 4th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Antoinette (Annie) was born on February 2, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Mary and John Mastandrea. She was raised in Brooklyn along with 7 siblings. She married Francis (Frank) Scolaro in St. Michael's Church, Brooklyn, NY on September 17,1955. They raised 2 children in Brooklyn, NY. Annie lived in Brooklyn for most of her life until she moved in with her daughter, Suzanne and son-in-law Ernie in Washingtonville NY. Annie slots, as we liked to call her, loved Atlantic City. She would play the slot machine for hours. Annie enjoyed life - she was the life of the party in her younger days. She always made a point to remember everyone's special occasions. She loved her grandchildren and really enjoyed seeing her great grandchildren whether it was in person, facetime or pictures, she would light up. Antoinette is predeceased by her loving husband Frank Scolaro of 43 years. She is survived by her 2 children; Frank Scolaro and wife Laura, Suzanne Radassao and husband Ernie; grandchildren; Lauren (Steve), Nicole(Tyler), Danielle (Fernando), Paul (Tara), Christina (Patrick) and Matthew. Great grandchildren: Vincent, Layla, Jack, LJ, Theo, Dominic, Cooper, Ava & Vienna; Sister Josephine (Dolly) Scianna, Sister-in-law Estelle(Stella) Caranante; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving parents John and Mary; brothers Michael, Ralph and John; sisters Josephine and Louise; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. The family would like to thank Westchester Medical and a very special thank you to Middletown Park Manor Rehabilitation for providing quality care and support to our mom during her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Annie's name would be greatly appreciated The family will receive friends from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
