Judith Loglisci

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Judith M. Loglisci, who departed this world peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the age of 78, due to natural causes. Judith was born on May 15, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, to George and Marion Kanfer, both of whom have predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph Loglisci. Together, they shared a life of love, laughter, and immeasurable devotion. Judith was a graduate of Tottenville High School and chose a path that would revolve around family and community, becoming a cherished homemaker who filled her home with warmth and love. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she embraced roles that allowed her to touch the lives of many. Judith was a proud leader in the Girl Scouts, a dedicated coach for the Special Olympics, and an enthusiastic Avon representative. Her commitment to serving others was further exemplified in her role as a board member for Lifestyles for the Disabled, where she tirelessly advocated for her special needs daughter, ensuring that all voices were heard and valued. Judith's generosity and kindness knew no bounds. She was a friendly soul who always had an open ear and a shoulder for anyone in need. Her infectious spirit could light up any room, and her genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her participation in the Red Hat Society was a testament to her love for joy, friendship, and community. Family was the cornerstone of Judith's life. She is survived by her loving children: Tracey Di Vilio, Joseph Loglisci, Scott Loglisci, and Keri-Anne Loglisci. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren - Paul Di Vilio, Jessica Loglisci, Joseph Di Vilio, Deanna Di Vilio, Kaitlin Loglisci, Michael Loglisci, Mason Loglisci, and Myles Loglisci - and her precious great-granddaughter, Mikayla Di Vilio. Judith's love for her family was boundless, and she took great pride in their achievements and happiness. Judith found joy in simple pleasures, such as scrapbooking and spending precious moments with her friends and family. Dining at Perkins Restaurant was a favorite pastime, where she not only enjoyed meals but also organized fundraisers to support Lifestyles for the Disabled. Her actions in these moments spoke volumes of her unwavering compassion and dedication to causes close to her heart. A celebration of Judith's life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, located at 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island. A Prayer Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. We invite you to join us in remembering and honoring a life so beautifully lived, as we say goodbye to a remarkable woman whose legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate in our hearts.
