Michael J. Keane

Michael J. Keane, 52 of Pine Bush, New York formerly of Staten Island passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Staten Island University Hospital South. Born Wednesday, January 15, 1969 in Staten Island, New York, he was the son of the late Michael J. Keane and the late Mary Margaret (Cooney) Keane. Mike a Sergeant for the New York State Department of Corrections, was a devoted family man and true friend to those who knew him. A member of the SCA, Mike in his free time cherished time with friends and family. Mike loved fishing with his brother, Poker games with friends, and generally spending time with his family. He was a devoted NY Rangers Fan and NY Giants fan. He was the beloved husband of 19 years to Kimberly (May) Keane. Loving father of Emma Keane and William Keane. Cherished Grandfather (Pa) of Kaylee and Michaela Keane. Dear brother of William Keane, Elizabeth M. Six, Ann M. Hutton, and Mary K. Keane-Khalid. Adored brother in law, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. True friend to many. A Funeral service will be at 4:00 PM on Friday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 40-50 person in room policy is in effect. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
