Nicanor I. Feliciano, Jr.

Nicanor I. Feliciano, Jr., 75, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born Saturday, April 14, 1945 in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Nicanor and Salud Feliciano. Nicanor was a devout catholic who had strong beliefs and was a longtime parishioner of Holy Child Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the guitar and volunteering his time at the church with his music talents. One of his favorite bands to listen to was the beatles. He was the beloved husband to the late Wivina, who passed away in 2006. Loving father to Dennis and Nick Feliciano. Dear brother to Lauro, Ernesto and Danilo Feliciano, Carmelita Samonte, Celerina Cinco and the late Emiliano Feliciano, Erlinda Roque and Reynaldo Feliciano. Devoted partner to Ofelia Paypon. Cherished yayo to Bella and Lily. Nicanor is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 50 person in room policy is in effect, as well as a maximum of 200 people permitted in Church. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
