Patrick L Cuciniello

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Cuciniello announce his passing on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the age of 81. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children, who he adored more than anything in this world. Patrick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marie, his children Debra Dai (husband Chris) and Michael (fiance Teresa) and step daughter Kristine (husband Jose), he was a proud loving papa to Angelica, Nicolette, Steven, Anthony, Kai, Evan and Tristan, his siblings Dolores, Anthony, Richard and was predeceased by his beloved first wife Julie, brother Sal, and his parents Alice and Palmarino. Patrick was a very loving and kind man. He was well known for his incredibly generous heart. He was charitable and always willing to help others in need. He didn't wait for the opportunity to donate or help, instead he would seek out those in need especially children. His family was his world. He would always say ''when I have my family with me I have everything.'' Patrick grew up in Brooklyn and came from a humble background. His parents were immigrants from Italy and settled in Brooklyn for a better life for their family. Due to family tragedies Patrick and his younger brother were placed in the Mount Loretto orphanage for a few years, which was a traumatic experience. Patrick and his brother eventually went back to Brooklyn with their parents and he attended New Utrecht HS. Patrick enlisted in the US Navy for 4 years for which his was profoundly proud. After serving in the Navy, he sought out to make his mark on Wall Street. Having started out as a runner, his determination and work ethic eventually lead him to become a partner at the prestigious Einhorn & Co, a brokerage firm in NYC. He was well respected member of the New York Stock Exchange. Patrick had an immense passion for fine dining, a love of theater and music, he was a self taught artist, an avid Yankee fan and he enjoyed a good football game and golf. But nothing made him happier than his family. Patrick's family was blessed by his love and he will be missed everyday of their lives. A private viewing for immediate family only will be at Scalia Funeral Home. There will be a funeral mass for family and friends held on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Child 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island NY, followed by an entombment at Resurrection Cemetery 361 Sharrotts Road, Staten Island NY In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the PKD foundation website pkdcure.org . This foundation is dear to our family. Patirick's first wife Julie passed away at age 48 from polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and his daughter Debra received a kidney transplant in 2019 due to the effects of the same disease, along with 3 of Patrick's grandchildren that have been diagnosed with PKD. Your kind donations will help find a cure for his family's disease.
