Robert J. Arciero

Robert Joseph Arciero, 77, of Vero Beach Florida, long time resident of Staten Island, NY and Rochester, NH, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on July 29, 2019. Mr. Arciero was born on the 10th day of May in 1942 in Manhattan to the late Vincent and Mary Arciero. Brother to the late Gerard, Vincent, and Lorraine Arciero. He was married to Rose Marie Siconolfi in 1964. They raised two children, Robert Anthony and Denise Ann, until her untimely death in 1988. He was also the son-in-law to the late Carmine and Antoinette Siconolfi. Mr. Arciero was an international freight forwarder for Crescent Navigation and later became sole proprietor of Robert's International. He had a successful career for almost 50 years until he retired in 2008. His passions were his family, coaching baseball for South Shore Little League, his love of nature and the outdoors, and his dog and best friend Sam. Robert is survived by his loving wife, of 30 years, Judith (Morrison) Arciero. His son Robert Arciero and daughter Denise Arciero-Noeth, his daughter-in-law Janine Arciero, and son-in law John Noeth. The greatest joys of his life are his 4 grandchildren, Robert Nicholas, Anthony Joseph, Julianna Rose, and Emma Rose. He will also be missed by his beloved mother-in-law, Joan Morrison and predeceased by his father-in-law Joseph Morrison, his five sister-in-law's Marianne Morrison, Rita Burke, Anna DeLuca, the late Elvira Biondi and Mary Lou Arciero. His six brother-in-law's Kevin Burke, Terry and Christopher Morrison, Joe DeLuca, the late Richard Lay and Frank Biondi. He will always be "favorite" Uncle Bobby to his plethora of nieces and nephews. Robert was a kind and loving man whose purpose in life was to take care of his family. He will be sorely missed. Known by his family and friends as the toughest guy who ever lived. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
