Ronald Joseph Muschello

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Joseph Muschello, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Ron left us on August 29, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories. Ron was born and raised in Staten Island, NY, where he attended New Dorp High School and received a degree in mechanical engineering from The College of Staten Island. Beyond his main career as an architectural sales manager, he also had a unique talent for home renovations and tile work, a trade he learned from his father. Ron�s artwork of beautifully tiled bathrooms and kitchens can be found in many homes across Staten Island. Ron had a curiosity for understanding how things worked and enjoyed completing projects around the house. He was able to fix almost anything, and was often inventive in his solutions. He loved gardening, fishing, classic cars, watching movies, listening to classic rock, and playing with Paisley. He also liked cooking and was always looking to try new recipes. Every evening, you could find Ron and his family around the dinner table watching Jeopardy. His sense of humor was one of a kind, with jokes that made his audience both roll their eyes and laugh at the same time. He had an interest in history and science, and was always on the lookout for the International Space Station in the night sky. Ron loved to travel and visited many countries and U.S. states in his lifetime, with a dream of retiring in Charleston, SC. Ron met the love of his life, Tina, on a vacation over four decades ago, and their love story continued to grow stronger with each passing year. Over 33 years of marriage, they shared a bond that was an inspiration to all who knew them. Ron was a loving and supportive father to his two daughters, Jennifer Rose and Gabriella Nicole, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts. Ron is survived by his cherished wife Tina, his daughters Jennifer and Gabriella, his brother Joseph (Nicole) and niece Gianna Rae, and mother-in-law Earlette Manetta. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, let us also celebrate the joy, laughter, and love that Ron brought into our lives. He will live in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, September 4, 2023,and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday September 5, 2023 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Private Cremation to follow.
