Tiqon I. Lediard

Tiqon Israel Lediard, Senior was born May 17th 1976 from the union of William Lediard and Barbara Courtenay. He was their only child together. Tiqon was born in a Military Naval Base Hospital. Tiqon attended the New York Public School System. In 2017 he finished his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the College of Staten Island. Growing up his parents considered him to be the most loving, sweetest, and energized child they had ever seen. His parents loved him dearly. Tiqon was a jack-of-all-trades. He could sew, use various machines, he blew the shofar, and he played different sports. He was into photography and he collected motorcycles as well as trucks. He worked for the Federal Government Probation Department for 20 years. He also worked for Meals on Wheels for a few years. It was through modeling that Tiqon met, the love of his life, Gabrielle. From their union came four children Trinity, Thais, Teena, and Timothy. His oldest son Tiqon Junior was from a previous relationship. Tiqon had a very charming and charismatic personality. People were naturally drawn to him. At the beginning of Tiqon's 17 years of marriage, he came to know the Lord Jesus as his personal savior. As time went on he became Elder Tiqon of Comeback Church. It was here that he served the Lord Jesus for many years. Through his love for riding motorcycles, Tiqon came to know the Never Enough Motorcycle Club. Later on, he became a part of a much bigger Brotherhood known as the Pagans. He chose to call himself Preacher because he was on a mission to help save his fellow motorcycle brethren, one brother at a time. He often prayed and counsel them. On June 17th 2022, Elder Tiqon also known as Preacher was called home to be with the Lord Jesus. He became absent in the body present with the Lord. Tiqon leaves behind to mourn his loving wife Gabrielle, his five children Tiqon Junior, Trinity, Thais, Teena and Timothy and his two foster children Makaila and Jonathan Valencia. His parents William and Barbara along with his brother-in-laws Charles, Jason, Gabriel Holman and Michael Romeo, sister-in-laws Samantha Romeo and Tonya Holman, his many nieces and nephews, his aunties and uncles, his cousins, sisters and brothers, Comeback Church, his Godfather, Never Enough and the Pagans. Tiqon will be truly missed and was loved dearly by all. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM on Friday, July 1, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
