August 2, 1962 - August 24, 2020

Annmarie Brown, 58, of Livingston passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Addeo Residence in Staten Island, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer that she faced with Strength and Dignity and Grace. Born Thursday, August 2, 1962 in Staten Island, she was the daughter of the late Rex Brown and Rose Brancato Brown. Annmarie worked as a Payroll and Workers Compensation Manager for the Department of Transportation at the Staten Island Ferry. before her retirement. Annmarie was known as friendly and loving by all who knew her. She had a true heart of gold and always put others before herself, she was the definition of unselfish. Annmarie will always be remembered for the smile on her face and her addiction to QVC. She was the consummate shopper and had an expansive collection of clothing and shoes. Annmarie's greatest joys were simply being on the beach and travelling to places such as Aruba where she could sit back and simply enjoy life. Annmarie was the loving sister to Joan (Dennis), Bonnie (Ed), Bobby (Kathy), Charles (Eileen), Richie (Karla) and the late Melissa. Cherished Aunt to Gabby, Andrew, Christopher, Eddie, Colleen, Joey and the late Alex. Dear cousin to Marie Hahn and longtime friend and ex wife of Martino DiGirolamo. Dear friend and confidant to many and a beacon of joy to all who knew her. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Benedicta located at 1265 Castleton Ave Staten Island, New York 10310. Private Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc.., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
