Anthony Riccio Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anthony ( Tony) Riccio, devoted family man and friend passed away on July 18, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn on December 24, 1942 to the late Ann ( Cantalupo) and Louis Riccio, Tony worked in the Bond Market on Wall Street where he made cherished and life long friends, He met the love of his life, Eleanor ( Faillace), while in the Army Reserves and married on February 5th, 1966, in Regina Pacis Church. They moved to Staten Island to raise their two sons. Tony was the leader, organizer and fun- loving planner of all family events, vacations, and golf outings with friends who fondly called him Clip Board Tony. He was larger than life and all who knew him loved spending every moment with him. He is survived by his son Anthony and his daughter in laws Arlene and Angela, his granddaughters Alyssa, Skyler, Amanda and Taylor. He was pre deceased by his beloved wife Eleanor and his son Craig. He also leaves behind his sisters Elaine and Debra ( Thomas), sister in laws Rosemary ( Michael), Pamela and Donna ( John), along with many loving nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces. Many broken hearts are left with Tony's passing and he will hold a special place in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tursday from 1- 4 p.m and from 7-9 p.m. at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd. Staten Island NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 50 Maguire Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
