Clare Lawler

Clare Lawler of Great Kills formerly of Eltingville passed away on November 28, 2020. She was born in Staten Island to the late Joseph and Adele Lawler. Clare was a consultant in the Insurance industry as well as a business owner. She could be be described by her family, as warm, loving and compassionate. She was the best cat mom. She was a sports fan and never missed a Giants game on television. She was a supporter of Meals on Wheels and was the type of person who was loved by those who met and knew her. She is survived by her brother Teddy and her sister Jacqueline Molokie A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc 28 Eltingville Blvd.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at St. Clare's Church at 11: 15 a.m. Committal services will follow at Rosehill Crematory Linden NJ. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 30 person in room policy is in effect, as well as a maximum of 150 people permitted in Church. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
