Corinne A. Huebler, 39, passed away sadly on February 23, 2021 due to complications from the Coronavirus. Corinne was born on December 28, 1981 and raised in Great Kills. She was a graduate of Tottenville High School and in later years became a Certified E.M.T. Corinne was an avid softball player, playing with the South Shore Little League and later playing travel softball with various leagues. She was known for her talent as an exceptional windmill pitcher. Corinne had a humorous personality and even though her life was short, she touched many people's hearts and made many happy memories. She was very much loved and will be sorely missed. Corinne was the beloved daughter to Ann F. McHugh Huebler and the late Andrew G. Huebler. Loving mother to Hailey Beck. Dear sister to Denise Huebler, Andrew C. Huebler and Gregory Huebler. Devoted aunt to Frank DiMartini. Corinne is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday. March 2, 2021 at Our Lady Star of The Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Cremation will be private. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 50 person in room policy is in effect, as well as a maximum of 300 people permitted in Church. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing. You can call 718-948-2016 and place your order. We must protect the families we serve, our own families and staff who operate the funeral home.
