Dolores Matusewicz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dolores Matusewicz, 78 of Staten Island, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born Sunday, November 22, 1942 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Minore and Ann Basso Minore. Dolores was an active member of the Womens Auxillary at the Elk's Lodge, and at the Henry and Stanley Cichon Post. Dolores was a devoted mother first and foremost to her children. She loved spending time with her family and going out to eat. Dolores was crafty and often made crafts. She often spent her time with her companion a King Charles Spaniel, Oscar. Dolores enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and playing quick draw. Dolores was the loving mother of Vito, Anthony (Frances), and Nicholas. Cherished granddaughter to Anthony, Kristi, Joseph, and Jenna. A Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM on Friday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations to the ASPCA be made in Dolores' name. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
