Dolores Marie Tufano, of Eltingville passed away on July 11, at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Born June 23, 1933 in Jamaica, Queens. Wife of the late Frank Tufano and daughter of the late Fiero and Josephine Tocco. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Karen Burke and husband Thomas, son Frank Tufano and wife Ileana and son Thomas and wife Vivian. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren Kim (husband Drew),Thomas (wife Gina), Christopher, Frank (wife Margaret), Deanna (husband Anuj), Matthew (wife Jacklynn), Alyssa (husband Russell), Tara and Ashley and 7 great grandchildren, Drew, Sean, Evan, Thomas, Callie, Frankie and Everett. Dolores loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, conversation, watching her shows and the NY Yankees. She was always just a phone call away and she was a great listener. Dolores had a heart of gold and will be FOREVER missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Friday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
