Harold J. Kaminski of Hazlet formerly of Elitngville passed away on Thursday March 3, 2022 at Bayshore Community Hospital. Born in Brooklyn to the late Bromislaus and Margaret, Harold was a man who was devoted to his family. He began working as a Merchant Marine, he then took a position with the Brooklyn Ferry as a deckhand, he then worked for the Moran Tugboat Company, for many years. His last job was working as a bus operator for the New York City Transit Authority. Harold enjoyed anyhting nautical, and since he lost his eye sight he was fond of listening to audio books for the blind. He was pre deceased by his late wife Marion ( nee Mc Carthy) who died in November 2008. He is survived by hs loving daughter Patricia Lentine and her husband Joseph, his grandaughters Meghan Achille and her husband Brian, Briann and her fiance Matthew Fitzpatrick A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. 28 eltingville Blvd. Religious services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial immediaetly following in Resurrection Cemtery.
