Ivy E. VanderBorgh, 52 of Eltingville, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Born Wednesday, April 30, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Marlene Colmer. She was the beloved wife of Harry VanderBorgh. Ivy was a writer. She had a gift of words and took th ecoros of the rainbow to paint a beautiful picture with words. She was a kind and giving person. Ivy was always readu to hlpe. She was always thre for animals. Although she could be loud at times, she got her point across. To wrap her up in one word to best describe Ivy would be ''Firecraker''. Ivy was very much loved and will be missed greatly. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Holy Child Church, 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island, New York in Ivy's memory.
