Lorraine Musso Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lorraine Musso, 67 of Eltingville passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Staten Island University Hospital South surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Thursday, January 14, 1954 in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Eppolito and the late Grace (Triolo) Eppolito. Lorraine a homemaker devoted her life to her family. She was the all around family manager, raising 3 children and attending to their every need. Lorraine was a perfectionist in her home, making sure everything was clean and in its place. Her true calling was the outdoors, her children can remember fondly Lorraine telling them to let her finish whatever she was doing so she could go outside and enjoy the warm rays of the sun. Lorraine enjoyed her down time by caring for herself making sure to have her nails and hair done on a regular basis and enjoying a ''Good'' cup of coffee. After raising her children Lorraine's reward came in the form of her grandchildren, a gift like no other she cherished them all. Lorraine could be found walking outside with the stroller for each of her grandchildren sharing her love of the warm rays of the sun with her grandkids. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to Joseph Musso. Loving mother of Michelle Sottile, Stephanie Rizzo and Michael Musso. Dear mother in law of Marc Sottile, Kris Rizzo and Shannon Musso. Adored sister of Grace Marie DeSantis. Cherished grandmother of Gianna, Joseph, Dominic, Christian, Brayden, Sophia, Alessia, and Salvatore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc.., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
