Lorraine Spoto, 69 of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Born Sunday, July 13, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Mario Gallinovich and Venzenia Cucchiara Gallinovich. Lorraine was born Brooklyn, NY. She married her late husband Dominic and lived in Staten Island for many years where they raised their two sons. They moved to New Jersey and stayed in several towns and eventually settled into Lakewood, NJ in 2016. She was a bus matron at Atlantic Express Bus Company, working along side her husband for over 20 years. Lorraine loved to cook, go to the pool, enjoyed gardening and had a larger than life personality. She loved her family very much. Lorraine was the devoted wife of the late Dominick who predeceased her in 2016. Beloved mother to Joseph (Amy) and Christopher (Lisa) Spoto. Dear sister to Maria Intoci (Sal) and Diane Sblendorio. Cherished grandmother to Taryn and Joseph, Jr. Lorraine is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m,Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m, on Tuesday in John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
