Marilyn Ann Rogers (nee Langford), ''Practically perfect in every way.'' - Bill Rogers A lifelong resident of Staten Island, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2022, just two weeks after losing her beloved husband, William ''Red'' Rogers. Marilyn is an alumni of New Dorp High School and went on to become a typist at Ingersoll Rand, a plumbing supply store in Manhattan. She later met the love of her life, Bill, through a mutual friend on South Beach while he returned home from the army. She was the Office Manager at Rogers Surveying, PLLC for 40 years and helped grow the family company to what it is today. Her pleasant voice, beauty, and charisma brought light and an air of professionalism to the company. Marilyn's favorite pastime was painting, playing tennis and golf, going on vacation with her girlfriends, and chasing after her 14 grandchildren around their family home in Huguenot, where they always gathered. She passed down her artistic talent to her children and grandchildren, instilled the importance of spending time with family, always hosting holidays and planning annual vacations with the whole family. Marilyn created a beautiful life and family with Bill, and they will forever be in our hearts. Marilyn is survived by children Sheryl Grundmann and husband Steve; Daniel Rogers and wife Elizabeth; Susan Martini and husband Spiro; Elizabeth Muldoon and husband Scott; 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, William ''Red'' Rogers, parents Francis and Anna (nee Pickering) Langford, brothers, Frank and Kenneth Langford. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Our Lady Star of the Sea located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. In iieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
