Monica Fleming, 77 of New Springville, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born Thursday, September 7, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York she was the late James and Margaret Fleming. Monica worked as a home health aid for many years in Brooklyn. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking trips to casinos, playing Bingo and going shopping. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She had a niece Shannon, who held a very special place in her heart. Monica was one of 9 children. She was pre-deceased by her siblings Sheila Czarnomski, Peggy Povall, and Bobby Fleming. She is survived by her siblings John, Ronald and Charles Fleming, Lorraine St. John and Diane Truncellito; 36 Nieces and Nephews and 3 Great Nieces and Nephews. A gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Thursday, March 24th from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
