Pasqua Appice

Pasqua Appice, 99 of Bloomingdale, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at home, just two days after her 99the birthday. Born Monday, June 18, 1923 in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Dominick Cirone and the late Beatrice Lacamita Cirone. Born in Queens, Pasqua moved back to and was raised in Italy with her mother at a young age after the passing of her father. After her marriage Pasqua returned to the states to raise her own family. a homemaker, Pasqua devoted her life to her family. Cooking was her passion, hand made meals from scratch with all fresh ingredients, was her trademark. She made sure everyone was fed and will be remembered for her amazing pasta and sauce, all made with love. Pasqua truly enjoyed life, she loved trips to Atlantic City, being on Facebook following everyone's updates and happenings in real time, She enjoyed regaling the younger generations with tales from her childhood, and younger days back in Italy and when she first came back to the states. She had a real passion for life and wished that she could live forever. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Loving mother of Frank Appice (Ninetta), Beatrice Stoler ( David), Madeline Mastrangelo, and the late Immaculata Lorenzo and her late husband George, The late Dominick Appice and the late John Appice and his late wife Maria. Dear sister of Maria Romita. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 AM on Friday at St Thomas the Apostle Church located at 50 Maguire Avenue Staten Island, New York 10309. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Donations in lieu of flowers maybe made to The American Heart Association in loving memory of Pasqua.
