Paul F. Henry

June 17, 1957 - October 5, 2021

Paul Francis Henry passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the young age of 64. Paul was born in Brooklyn, on Monday, June 17, 1957, and settled in Great Kills in 1994. Paul proudly served in the United States Navy from 1978-1984, as a gunner's mate. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. Paul loved to laugh, travel, take walks with his wife, listen to music, spend time with family & friends, watch tv. He was a die-hard fan for the New York Rangers, Mets and Jets, but his happiest times were spent just being with his wife and cats. He is predeceased by his father Jerome, mother Elizabeth, brother Patrick who passed away in March, and his Mother-In-Law, Alice Basso, who passed away in June. Paul was the beloved and devoted husband of Debbie (Basso), for 38 wonderful years, and leaves behind his fur babies Ned Mulligan and Lulu Delilah, who he doted on with pleasure every day. Paul will be dearly missed by his brothers Jimmy, Dennis & John, sisters MaryBeth Bianco , Nancy and her husband Leo Gimignani, sisters-in-law Josephine Henry, Letty Henry, Eileen O'Connor, Patricia and her husband Mike Cannon, nephews-in-law Robbie Basso & Tommy O'Connor, and great-great-nephew-in-law Ryan Lane O'Connor. Paul was also very much loved by his 11 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 15 great-nieces and nephews and 4 grand nephews. Paul was best known for his kindness, honesty, easy-going spirit and his wonderful sense of humor. He had a larger than life personality, warmth and compassion for others. Paull will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him so very much. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021, and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM with family and friends gathering at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312.
