Peter A. DePaulo, 67 of Annadale, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Born Tuesday, July 7, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Peter and Genevieve DePaulo. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and earned his Master's degree at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Peter was an excellent and successful entrepreneur. He loved what he did. He was the proud founder and owner of JP Salvage. He truly loved his career. He never complained about going to work and even got to share his passion for the job with his children and grandchildren. He held the title of National Judo Champion and earned his Black Belt sixth degree in Judo. Peter was a family man. He loved the holidays and having everyone together. Peter always looked forward to Saturdays as it was ''family visit day''. �He was �a proud grandfather who adored his granddaughters. � Peter was a wise and kind man. You could always depend on him for a helping hand, knowledge and sound advice for any situation. He was the beloved husband of 41 years of Fern DePaulo nee Cohen, loving father of Samantha Maresca (Joe), Andrew and Gabrielle; dear brother or Anthony, Frankie, Joey, Marlene and Genevieve Iacoviello, cherished grandfather of Everly and Violetta, fond uncle to many nieces and nephews and a cherished life long friend of Tom Lyons. He was predeceased by his sister Fran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:15 AM on Friday at Our Lady Star of The Sea located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Ocean View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 50 person in room policy is in effect, as well as a maximum of 100 people permitted in Church. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
