Restituta Pagano

July 29, 1939 - January 22, 2021

Restituta Pagano, 81 of Huguenot, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born Saturday, July 29, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucretia Barbieri. She was the beloved wife to her late husband Frank who passed in 2012. Restituta is survived by her loving children Dante, Frank and Maria. Her dear daughter in laws Jackie and Andrea. Her cherished grandchildren Danielle, Anthony, Lucy, Alexandria, Frankie (F.J.), and Alicia, and loving great grandchildren Esther and Felicia. She had friends who would have done anything for her. She considered them to be family as they were there for her through all her joys, her sorrows and everything in between. Plain and simple, what defined her life was her love of family and her friends. If she had her way, she would be with them every minute of the day. Saying goodbye to this remarkable woman is one of hardest things we’ll ever do. But she has left us with the most amazing memories of her well-lived life and there are no regrets! A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at St. Clare Church located at 110 Nelson Ave Staten Island, New York 10308. Interment will be in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. In lieu of flowers donations in Restituta's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.scaliahome.com Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 30 person in room policy is in effect, as well as a maximum of 100 people permitted in Church. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
