Thomas A. Fernino, 92 passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Eger Health Care & Rehab. Center in Staten Island, New York. Born Sunday, March 10, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Francis Fernino and Mary Calandrello Fernino. Thomas was the devoted husband of 65 years to Mary Fernino. Loving father Joanne Narducci, Thomas A. Fernino, Jr., and Francis A. Fernino. Dear father-in-law to Michael Narducci and Marisa Fernino. Cherished grandfather to Alexa, Danielle, Melissa, Patrice, Christina, Joseph, Jennifer and Anthony. Devoted great grandfather to his 8 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:15 AM on Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021, at the John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times and social distancing will be required when in the funeral home. Due to the current pandemic a Strict 50 person room policy is in effect. Please adhere to this policy so as to allow others to pay their respects.
