Daniel M. Podvesker

Daniel M. Podvesker, 34 of Bloomingdale, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at home. Born Tuesday, September 16, 1986 in Brooklyn , New York, he was the son of Rosanne DeFalco Podvesker and the late Robert Podvesker . Daniel, raised in Staten Island, attended Staten Island Academy, before attending Farrell High School. Upon graduation Daniel attended Quinnipiac College and received his Jurisprudence Degree from New York Law School. Daniel was hard working always with his nose to the grind. Along with his law career Daniel started his own IT company and was currently developing apps. In his free time Daniel relished in trips to Vegas with friends. He was a devoted NY Giants fan and loved sports in general. Trips to the Jersey Shore were always a favorite for him and just being with friends and family. Loving brother of Charles Podvesker. Devoted nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:15 AM on Saturday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, December 4, 2020, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York. Please be mindful due to the current State mandate that a mask must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing requirements must be followed during the services. Due to the current Pandemic a strict 30 person in room policy is in effect. Please adhere to this policy and allow others to pay their respects as well. Due to the current pandemic circumstances please note: We do not accept deliveries from outside vendors for bakery products, fruit baskets, and floral arrangements until further notice. Floral Arrangements can be purchased from our in house floral designers who work under the most stringent sanitary conditions which include temperature checks, mask wearing, distancing and protective clothing.
