Diana M. Thompson Diana M. Thompson was born on November 3, 1989 to the late John L. Thompson and Marie E. (Hein) Thompson. She attended P.S. 36, I.S. 75 and Tottenville High School. She went on to Kean University where she majored in Recreational Therapy and graduated May 2013. During her teenage years, Diana did office work in the Religious Education Office of St. Joseph-St. Thomas. She volunteered as a Catechist Assistant at her home parish of Holy Child where she also performed with her sister in the bell choir. Diana participated in St. Joseph-St. Thomas special needs mass lending her voice to the choir. She used her Recreational Therapy degree at The Brielle where she loved helping, organizing and being with the residents. Her desire to help people led her to her current position at Mobile Health where she was the Human Resource Generalist. Her passion for taking care of people was very evident in all she did at work and at home. Diana loved her sister, Lauren and her friends, Anthony & Priya, Bryan and Vinny, Allie, Kathleen and Matthew. She enjoyed everything K-Pop and her favorite group Stray Kids. Her dad instilled in her a strong love of movies that she carried on with her friends. She enjoyed travelling and cruising with her mom, Marie. She had a huge loving personality and lit up any room she walked into, not with just personality but with style. She was very proud of her magnificent body art. She was a bright star. She was very fortunate to find love in her relationship with Matt. She cherished her time and special moments with him and his dog, June. Diana is survived by her mom, Marie, her sister (best friend) Lauren and her future brother-in-law Adam. Her extended family, Liz, George, Allie, Kathleen, Matthew and her closest friends, Anthony, Priya, Bryan, and Vinny. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
