Joseph John Villano

Joseph John Villano, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Born on December 11, 1940 the son of Angelina and John Villano he was raised in Brooklyn New York. He graduated from Xavier High School and attended West Point Military Academy. He then served his country for 5 years in the Army Reserve reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. He married Frances (Pepey) Villano his wife of 63 years. They moved to Staten Island to raise their three children Steve, Elaine and Debbie. Joseph worked in the Elevator Industry for more than 50 years. He was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local One. He finished his elevator career at TK Elevator Corp at the age of 76. He was an avid Jets, Mets and NASCAR fan and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Frances Villano, his son Steve Villano and daughter in law Maureen Steiner, his daughters Elaine Villano, Debbie Muesser and son in law Mike Muesser, as well as his Grandchildren Sean, Nicholas and his fiance Sabrina, Jessica and her husband Steven, Lianne, Jennifer and her husband Dan, Leslie, Matthew, Michael and his fiance Joslynn, Jason, Samantha and Thomas, his sister Claire Schultz and her husband Robert and their children his sister in law Lori Buthorn and her husband Kevin, his Niece Kerri Albanese and her children Alexa And Michael, his Nephew Kevin and his wife Bridgetand their daughter Caitlyn. He is predeceased by his parents Angelina and John Villano and his in-laws Emily and Vito Pepey. Joseph will be remembered for his strength and wisdom, unwavering love for his family and country. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
