  • Petition to the Office of the Cheif Medical Examiner of New York City
    Saturday, May 23, 2015

We the people of Staten Island demand that Full Mortuary Operations of the Staten Island Medical Examiner’s Office be bought back and kept on Staten Island. The death of a loved one is an emotional experience. This change in procedure will subject the families to undue Mental Anguish. Unnecessary added time and expense will be incured for the arrangements and the funeral. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner in the City of New York, under the direction of Dr. Barbara Sampson, has made the decision without compassion to remove all services, with the exception on Identification to the Brooklyn Office. We the following believe that Staten Island is being short changed, once again. demand the return of FULL Mortuary Operations to Staten Island. https://www.change.org/p/chief-medical-examiner-of-the-city-of-new-york-dr-barbara-sampson-keep-fulll-mortuary-operations-on-staten-island Read more
